Boston is home for us. C Tetrault Landscaping has been based in the city since we started in 2020, and it's where we take most of our early morning calls before heading out to the western suburbs. People assume there isn't landscaping work in Boston, and that's only true of the downtown neighborhoods. Head out to West Roxbury, Roslindale, Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain or Brighton and you're looking at streets of single-families and two-families with real front lawns, real back yards, and the same grass problems as anywhere else in eastern Massachusetts. What's different is everything around the work. Yards are small enough that every bare patch shows. Street trees put half of them in shade. Road salt hits the front strip hard every winter, and the front strip is often most of the front lawn. And a good number of these properties are two- and three-families where the owner isn't the one living on the first floor.
